According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Hamed Abdollahi, announcing that shrimp production in the country will reach 3.5 tons per hectare, added: With the benefit of technical knowledge, Morvarid Shakil Qeshm has successes to increase its production by 149 percent and registering 8.7 tons per hectare.
According to him, Qeshm has grown 107 percent in comparison with the industry's activists in Hormozganprovince, with an average production of 4.2 tons per hectare, and Qeshm can be named the most successful shrimp breeding in the country.
Abdollahi said: Morvarid Shakil Qeshm Company, January 1, 2019, won the title of the best shrimp breeding unit from all aquaculture units throughout the provinces and coastal cities of the country, and received two honors from the Minister of Agriculture and the head of the country's fisheries organization.
He noted the principled construction of shrimp pools, success in the highest level of production per unit area, and the observance of sanitation as the most important items for selecting the Morvarid Shakil QeshmCompany as the best shrimp producer in the country.
Abdollahi said: 51 workers are working at the Morvarid Shakil Qeshm Company, and the countries of France, China, Russia and the UAE are the main customers of Qeshm shrimp production.
He referred to the production of 270 tons of shrimp during the first period of production of this aquatic in Morvarid Shakil Qeshm pools, saying: With the start of harvesting in the new period, it is expected that the harvest will increase to around 400 tons.
According to the report, Morvarid Shakil Company, as one of the companies sponsored by the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, received 150 hectares of land, and landscaping 120 hectares of these lands, was able to create 68 pools in 73 hectares, able to raise export shrimp.
